I was so thrilled to drive up and see our living room full of beautiful balloons. My hubby always seems to find a way to add some magic into our days. xo

a great day

Today was one of those wonderful days from start to finish. I got up early, made muffins and parfaits, took my daughter to her gymnastics class, had three of my favourite women in the world over for brunch, had time to play with my daughter and a great visit with my parents.

It might sound like quite an ordinary day, but I am beginning to see all of these moments combined as being quite extraordinary. Time shared with our loves is everything.

The topper was a tub full of ice cream that I'm pretty sure we could swim in. The workouts start tomorrow. xo

I want to give her all of my strength and all of my hope. I want the combination of all of our love and support to carry her through this. She is the most remarkable woman I know and every moment I share with her is such a gift. The nurses already love her. Do you ever notice that some people are just incredibly easy to love?xo
