green
This is my favourite scarf. My friend Kitty brought it back from her travels through Europe. It has the palette of autumn, my favourite season. There are very few things in my closet that I would never part with, and this is one of them.

A wonderful night in with friends celebrating one of the funniest men I've ever met. My cheeks are still hurting from all the laughter tonight. I'm always reminded of how lucky I am to be surrounded by people with such amazing senses of humour. I hope you have all had a wonderful Saturday!!

which way did he go?
These are the amazing yayas that I am so lucky to belong to. About once a month we get together for fabulous vino, delicious gourmet home-cooked food thanks to our in-house incredible chefs, side splitting laughs and plenty of emails the next morning with the best quotes of the night. (tonight's was "there's a stop sign right here".) I always look forward to these nights with this dynamic group of talented women. This photo cracks me up with all of the unexplainable pointing.

solitude
This wooden sculpture/structure is tucked under the shadows of Vancouver's Shangri La Hotel. I was having fun sitting within this quiet space nestled in the heart of the city. Soon enough, another photographer wandered in. He asked if I wanted to be photographed. I shyly/politely/cleverly(?) declined and scadaddled out of there. It was a beautiful space for the brief moment that it was mine.

namaste
Not a great photo by any means, but it was a fun night out with one of my friends to a great local yoga class. I quickly realized how much I've missed yoga. Soothing music, a wonderfully motivating instructor, amazing stretches, mindfulness, delicious tea poured for the class after - whatever they are serving, I'm buying. I felt like a million bucks (CDN!). Remember to take time out of your busy schedules to give back to your body. Namaste.

just because the day called for a little sparkle...
It was just one of those days where everything that could go wrong did. I felt like shooting a happy photo, with a bit of sparkle to brighten things up. My never-fail-go-to-remedy: A great workout and a cupper with my love. The day always ends on a good note.
