winding down

Tonight it was just her and I. We danced, we dined, we played, bathed and read. We watched a little sesame street and I teared up a bit when big bird was rejected from other birds because he wasn't like them. Then he sang a song about loving who he was. It was just what I needed tonight and a little embarrassing that I had to be reminded of that from a giant yellow bird.
I know what you're thinking - damn those plaid pj pants are sexy.
